Hi all,
I'm SWG refugee; I played and tried a few other mmos, currently subscribed to WW2online. It strikes me I had never found any info on WELL Online until last night although I've been following news on developement of different mmos for a good while. Most of that time I was disappointed with the lack of new refreshing ideas or any kind of bold approach to the subject. Anyway, this game seems to have many of my dream mmo features. Now, my question is if anyone could provide some info on the current state of the game. Is it still in developement (realease was meant for the end of 2007 according to the official site) or is it cancelled? Sorry if I missed anything but information about this project seems to be rather sparse. Thank you.

that's probably because all information/development and promotion (if any exists yet) is all in russian at the mo. We have been asking for an official intrnational forum but as yet none has appeared. In the meantime Konissar is doing a grand job of keeping us all informed. We think, like you, that this game will be a breath of fresh air and are patiently waiting in the sidelines for our russian friends to take notice of us ;D In the meantime, welcome to the WELL

Hey mate and welcome to the club It is true that all info on the game's progress is in Russian but most new updates are being translated and appear here Currently the game is nearing the end of closed beta - I am in contact with the DEVs in Moscow everything is going very well so far. The open beta is planned for June... The main idea is however that the international community will only see the game when ALL bugs have been rooted out... They don't want to spoil the image of Russian software on the one hand and don't want to repeat Vanguard's mistakes on the other... The english -speaking official forum is in the works and i will be appointing moderators very soon. I have a meeting with Sibilant officials tomorrow. A large interview with many questions from the international community has been turned in to the devs and I hope they answer them soon enough so that I could post them here. Cheers

Hello friends! It is nice to see so many familiar faces here, it brings back good memories from the old. As some of you know I am Drakfot and I come from Ryzom. As Zyra I have had a look at a few games but none has compared nor catch my attention more then a few hours or sporadically over a few weeks. Looking at the art, thoughts have already started to stir in my mind about tales and character Its nice to be here with you all! //Drakfot

Joney and I have spoken since then and he told me about what had happened to Tears. Sad to see the guild go! Well I hope W.E.L.L. is a new home for me! Also have any of you heard of a game called Earthrise? That one looks promising as well another skill based game!! It reminds me a lot of SWG Pre-CU! I need to do some reading up on W.E.L.L. too, but from what I have read and seeing all of my old Ryzom buds here it soulds like this is going to be a good game as well! Yes, I'd heard about Earthrise. Is it Bulgarian, isn't it? But their universe expected in post-apocalypse entourage like Fallout and that I don't like for myself. It's game looks really promising and maybe will have a huge success. But the game appears only in 2009. Sorry about talking sooo long to reply been a little busy lately, but yes Earthrise is being developed by a Bulgarian company named Masthead studios. Sorry if it doesn't fit your play style it sounds pretty amaziing like this game.

Earthrise does look like it will be a good game. One big Sandbox and lots of PvP. No classes and no levels to gain, will be all skills, mostly crafting and combat. I'm actually considering starting an RP guild for ER with a friend. But it is too soon to tell if ER will be my new MMO home, I'd like to get into beta first . There is still hope with Ryzom too, according to rummors it has been bought.

I 'm glad to hear that Ryzom may have been bought, I just hope that they will give Ryzom the work and advertisement that it deserves! It is a truely unique experience and it just needs to have the time put into it to move the game forward!

Hell, Its me Ptolmea IRL: US
For those who somehow don't know me, I am a refugee from Saga of Ryzom. Known for my nudist tendancies.
The reason I am intrigued by WELL, is mostly the promise of running around with Atysians again, nothing else really. Well, perhaps the massive diversity it promises.

Hi - Nick from Australia. I started mmo'ing in Anarchy Online, migrated to City of Heroes. Then my whole sg from there raided Everquest II on our way to invading World of Warcraft. And since then I've been bumming around all over the place. Found Ryzom last year and only had to leave cos of RL stuff. I'd be playing there again right now if not for the troubles
