the advantages of a battle fan are evident It is an extremely light weapon with many a sharp blade that can inflict fatal wounds within seconds. A real battle fan virtuoso can dispose of a whole group of enemies not getting a single scratch. Moreover battle fans give additionl piercing damage if they have an accumulator crystal installed in the handle. Often such a weapon can easily cut through the thickest of armor (given that the crystal is fully charged).
