hey mates, Today I have had a telephone conversation with Alexander Brajnik - the PR manager of WELL online and i came up with an idea of an exclusive interview from our international fan-forum. He agreed. He promised that all questions will be answered in full but there should be no more then 5 of them Let us now come up with the questions that we would like the devs to answer. Think carefully, what would you like them to tell us about the game and the project. Post your questions here pls. Once we get enough of them we make a poll and vote on the most vital ones. As soon as we're done I'll make the interview with Alexander in Russian and will translate it in english. They will check the translation and then it will be posted on the main web site. Get your brains to work people Good luck.

Here are some, will try to think of more.
Q) Can you give any information on how the economy will work? Will it be mainly player-based or will NPCs be able to buy and sell all items? Will Career/faction be taken into account regarding prices or the limiting of certain items?
Q) Will there be any crafting? If so, how complicated is this compared to the simple crafting, for example, seen in World of Warcraft and will crafted good be superior to loot?
Q) Can you elaborate on the village building aspect? Will this be possible at launch and in which areas can we build?
Q) In player organisations, can players set the rules of the organisation the same as NPC ones? E.g. murder is ok for an assassin's guild. If so, are there safeguards to stop people making a group that can break every law without committing a crime?

In the 2nd FAQ, I saw a question about mobs dropping money/crystals but I'm interested in the deeper side of the economy - of manufacture and trading but I don't see anything about crafting or village building (forgot where I even read about that).
Here are some more:
Q) Are there any minor organisations that you can help but not join?
Q) Can your actions for one organisation cause you to be Kill On Site (KOS) by another? Are you KOS anywhere at the start of the game if you choose a certain race and are there ways to reverse it?
Q) Are there any plans to show your high rank within an organisation to the whole world on the website?
Q) Are there guilds as well as player organisations, where you are just a group of people who are all in diffferent orgs? Can guilds/orgs design their own symbol/tabard/coat of arms?
Q) Will there be a live events team that will run in and out of game stories?
Q) Will there be small festival events/quests that are only available at certain times of the year and give unique rewards?
Q) Can you explain more about the arena? Will there be regular tournaments, gambling or a league table/ladder on the website?
P.S. Thanks for the 2nd FAQ translation!

I will make an alternative translation of the FaQ and post it here so that we don't have such "incidents" anymore... Just give me a bit time... sooo busy at work atm A global design project for a city-scale festival in middle asia to be presented in ministry of culture in 3 days... soon (tm) I will get down to it. So far let's post ALL questions and we'll filter them out after i post the faq... This will also show what parts of the FAQ need translation first and foremost

Q) How will combat work is it twitch based or traditional type combat? Q) Your FAQ indicates very fast leveling what features do you feel will make players feel attached to your world? Q) How detailed is Character Custimization will I be able to create a totally unique avatar?
That's it for now I'll try to think of more.

I've already asked the same question to TCoS devs:
I would like to hear some engine-related details. I'm not talking about deep technical insights but how developers are using the available technology to give life to W.E.L.L. Online virtual world ...
I've tested so many betas recently and I'm really disappointed by the inefficient use of modern rendering technologies in today's MMOs. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems to me that some older DX8 games like WoW or our beloved Ryzom did a far better job rendering their worlds than most current DX9 and DX10 games.
Other than that, I'd also like these questions answered:
Q) Will there be a live events team that will run in and out of game stories?
Q) How detailed is Character Custimization will I be able to create a totally unique avatar?

There is only one thing I need to know and that is how the game's controls work.
* How is player movement handled? Can I click a point on the ground to move there, like in an Asian mmorpg? Or do I have to use the keyboard (WASD) like in an American mmorpg?
Personally, I hate keyboard controlled games and much prefer point & click. So I hope this game offers both options (like Guild Wars).
* How is the camera controlled? Right click and drag to look around (my prefered method) or something else?
* Is the game played in a first person or third person view?
For me, the way a game's controls are setup is the single biggest factor of determining if I'll play that game or not. It's the most important aspect of any game and usually the hardest one to find any information about, so I really hope somebody can answer this.
Thanks muchly.
